'unsurface' 2017 aims to put bodies in contact with each other and begins with a tree struck by lightning. The work is the continuation of something after it dies. Sounds of contact between the tree and its fluid base are picked up and projected only to be fed back through the system. People entering the space absorb and reflect vibrations to produce unpredictable variance in this pattern. Essentially the work is a study of cause and effect, being between bodies in both time and space.
